Quality Engineer (90 Day Contract-to-Hire)
MS Companies is currently looking for a Quality Engineer (90 Day Contract-to-Hire) to join our client's expanding quality operations team in the Springfield, TN area.
Location: Springfield, TN
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Shift: 1st Shift
What You'll Do:
Continuous Improvement Projects
Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
Customer Quality Interface
Process Audits
Internal Quality Audits
Corrective actions follow-up
Prepare quality reports and actions to improve quality
Creation of write work instructions, PFMEAs and Control Plans.
Other duties may include PPAP paperwork, dimensional reports and corrective action support.
What You'll Bring:
A Quality Engineer comfortable working within a fast-paced automotive environment; responsible for quality related activities and performance; initiates and maintains customer interface and support.
Minimum of 3 years experience/internship in manufacturing
Excellent computer skills
Excellent Communication skills
Work independently, and proactively
Experience in Automotive industry (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP)
Bachelors in Automotive, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Business AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
