Job Responsibilities
Intercompany Accounting
A/R resolution
Misc invoice processing
Daily sales reporting
Sales price maintenance/tracking
A/P resolution
New vendor adds
Maintenance & Repair budget tracking
Daily KPI reporting
Labor efficiency tracking (productivity)
Freight invoice review
Payroll backup
SOX reporting
Month end journal entries
Month end account reconciliations
Cost background a plus
Potential to shuffle around duties based upon where strong skill set lies
General
4 year degree with Accounting or Finance concentration
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably automotive
Ability to work in high stress, deadline driven environment
Ability to shift focus as required (fast paced environment)
Long hours may be required (month end, preparation for month end, whatever it takes to get the job done)
Ability to work in close proximity with accounting group (open office concept)
Ability to work in a team environment across multiple departments
High level of communication skills - corporate office reporting may be required
High level of self-motivation will be key in success
Succession planning includes next level to assistant controller
Technical
Advanced Excel skills required (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, data import)
QAD experience is a plus
