Material Specialist

2nd Shift
Direct, Salaried Position Bonus Eligible
o Maintain a complete and current understanding of all customer accounts, operating characteristics, delivery needs, and reporting requirements. Track specific customer accounts delivery schedule requirements; identify significant releasing variations and effectively convey the trend analysis; coordinate with the customer for practical delivery schedules for un-forecasted or significantly increase requirements
o Maintain specific customer MIS and EDI file information
o Produce a rolling 13-month sales forecast based on customer requirements
o Access web-based customer programs as suggested by a customer
o Coordinate production schedules and material deliveries; continuously monitor product availability against customer requirements ; drive manufacturing priorities through the plant to produce 0 premium freight
Summarize and distribute customer specific mid-to-long range business information, including shut-down schedules, overtime schedules, and changes in delivery or reporting
o 3-5 years' experience
o MRP proficient
o Excel Proficient
o Is able to initiate vendor delivery follow-ups, coordinate data base set-ups, verification of inventories and month end reconciliation processes.
o Works with receiving to insure timely receipt of goods
o Knowledgeable of EDI functionality
o Maintains inventories at the prescribed DOH and in line with budget targets.
o Good communication skills
o Good problem solving skills - familiar with 8D
Automotive background preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
